Embedding inclusive thinking for TV programme creators around the world

We built the capability for TV creators around the world in service of a global strategy for inclusion

The challenge


ITV - the producer, broadcaster and streamer - wanted to build leadership capability levels around inclusion to embed a new global strategy and create confidence levels from the top down.


Our response


Through a bespoke approach, we partnered with leaders in the Netherlands, Germany and Australia to co-create and deliver a two-module learning programme that covered key concepts around inclusion, combined with specific context and applications relevant to the TV industry. 


What we delivered


  • A series of leadership 1-2-1s with a subset of cohorts in each market to understand key challenges and market maturity

  • A bespoke programme of learning covering two modules with specific focuses on bias, inclusive language and inclusive leadership 

  • Adapted learning to Dutch and German market contexts, including delivery in local languages 

  • Independent learning materials to support self-learning beyond the training sessions


The impact

  • 150 learners reached across three markets

  • Increased reported confidence levels across markets (+15% reported in post learning survey) 

  • Increased understanding of key concepts impacting workplace culture (+43% reported in post learning survey)
