We’re looking for a head of marketing to spread the word of our work and our mission to accelerate inclusion. This role is ideal for those who are alive to the conversations about equity, diversity & inclusion, and are passionate to build their knowledge and expertise in this area, while helping to create an unmistakable mark on the world.


The Unmistakables works with client partners to embed our inside out inclusion® framework , creating impact through cultural transformation, research and insights as well as inclusive marketing and communications. We are now looking for a head of marketing who can deliver a B2B marketing plan that will spread awareness of what we do with the people who need to know.


The core responsibility of this role is to own and deliver a marketing plan - from managing our website, organising events, writing copy and creating graphics to building and delivering a social media plan. We’re looking for an all-rounder who can work across strategy, creative and activation who has a passion for equity, diversity & inclusion to take us to the next level.


The head of marketing will report directly into the founder and chief executive, working together to build, translate and deliver a marketing plan. This role will eventually build out a marketing team in line with company growth.


You will be accountable for (key responsibilities):

  • Developing and activating a B2B marketing plan - working across strategy, creative and execution to deliver to a high standard

  • Owning The Unmistakables brand across all touch

  • points - being responsible for ensuring creativity and consistency

  • Copywriting external communications - being the first point of contact for blogs, newsletters, thought leadership articles and other copy requirements

  • Designing visual assets - being a dab hand at Canva (or similar) to create visually engaging content for internal and external communications

  • Managing social media - taking on the running of our Instagram and Linkedin accounts to grow our audience reach and engagement

  • Managing virtual and physical events - creating a robust plan and drawing in support from the wider team to deliver

This role will deliver (key deliverables and measures of success):

  • Strategy, creative and activation across a quarterly marketing plan

  • Brand consistency internally and externally

  • Increased awareness, engagement and action amongst existing clients and new leads

Capabilities:

  • Strategic thinking - the ability to design a strategic marketing plan and know how to translate this into execution

  • Strong attention to detail - the ability to draft copy with minimal supervision and approval rounds required

  • Visual creativity - an ability to develop visual concepts and translate them to creative digital assets

  • Connectivity - well connected within the business to understand new marketing and profiling opportunities

  • Organisation - the ability to manage multiple projects and to draw in wider support internally and externally in order to deliver

Salary:

£45,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience
