Apply to be a Do That Thing Creator
Do That Thing is a unique mentorship scheme for black and ethnic minority creatives. Rolling out in Bradford, Manchester and London to start with, it brings together creatives to help lift each other up, in a sector that suffers from a severe lack of representation.
Our Leaders and Creators are only a few years apart in age and career progression, and we aim to tool and support their partnerships with what they need to get greater access to paid work as a creative practitioner.
Successful applicants will be matched with partners who are deemed to be the best fit for their particular circumstances and ambitions. They will receive advice and guidance through face-to-face and remote meetings from September 2019 till June 2020. And they’ll be supported with monthly bespoke newsletters, day to day worksheets and guidance, and have their profile raised on our Instagram and other media channels.
If you’ve got the experience to share with other young creatives, you might have what it takes to become a mentor yourself. Click here for info on Leader positions.
Do That Thing Creators must be aged between 19 and 22 years of age on 2nd April 2019.
